Evan Michael Stark

Born and raised in Houma, Louisiana, Evan Michael Stark has deep roots in the community he proudly serves today. He is the son of Billy and Marla Stark and resides in Houma with his wife, Sara, and their three children, Sadie, Charles, and Penny.

Evan graduated from Vandebilt Catholic High School in 2002 before earning the distinguished opportunity to attend the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Following his honorable medical discharge in 2004, he returned to Louisiana and graduated from Louisiana State University in 2007.

Driven by a passion for service and academics, Evan was accepted into medical school and attended St. George's University Medical School at Northumbria University in Newcastle, England. During his studies abroad, he realized that his true calling was the practice of law and returned home to pursue a legal career. He subsequently earned his Juris Doctor from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2012.

Upon graduation, Evan joined his father at Stark Law Firm, continuing the legacy and values established by Billy Stark. Today, as a partner at Stark & Breaux, Evan remains committed to providing dedicated, community-focused legal representation while honoring the strong foundation upon which the firm was built.

In addition to his private practice, Evan served as an Assistant District Attorney for Terrebonne Parish under District Attorney Joe Waitz, Jr. since 2024. He is also the co-owner and closing attorney for Star Key Title, where he assists clients through residential and commercial real estate transactions.

Evan is an active member of both the Terrebonne Parish and Lafourche Parish Bar Associations and proudly serves on the Board of Directors for the Regional Military Museum in Houma. His professional and civic involvement reflect his lifelong dedication to his community, his profession, and public service.
